Diamond Fuji — Recommended Viewing Spots

The "Diamond Fuji" phenomenon occurs when the setting or rising sun aligns perfectly with the summit of Mt. Fuji, and can be observed around Lake Yamanaka village in autumn and winter.
This breathtaking sight is considered one of the finest in Japan, attracting professional and amateur photographers from across the country.

The best viewing period is December through mid-February, when weather conditions are relatively stable. The area from Hana-no-Miyako Park along the lakeshore offers excellent viewpoints.
We hope you enjoy this spectacular display created by nature.
